Honoring My Lessons

Honoring my lessons can be challenging. How infinite the times I have created pain for myself in order to learn! I recently created a challenging experience in order to focus on self-healing. When I turn within and see this experience from a spiritual perspective I see clearly that it is part of my path. I tune into the excitement; I created this so I could learn all these lessons, wow! I don't want someone to deny me the lessons I've prayed as Spirit to receive.

Talking to God helps me own this process to a greater level. I may be in pain, my body complaining loudly. I ask God for words of wisdom and I hear clearly why I've created the situation I'm in and what I'm learning.Having this spiritual perspective helps me let go of blaming myself and others. When I see the lesson behind the situation I can feel empowered as Spirit even though I feel victimized as body. When I communicate to my body and to myself as Spirit I can balance these two dichotomies.

I don't know any process that is more challenging or more rewarding than being responsible for myself as a spiritual being. This process for myself can be humbling, however, it also is very enlightening and freeing. Honoring my lessons and my unique path as Spirit is part of this process.
